From the 25th march you will be able to fly to Lamezia four times a week from London Stansted airport. The current schedule only allows for two flights a week, going out Friday and Monday afternoons with the return flights coming straight back at around 9pm which gets into Stansted around midnight.

The summer schedule means that you'll be able to fly out Sunday, Monday, Wednesday or Friday although you'll have a ridiculously early 6am flight so it's hardly worth going to bed the night before! The return flights are around 9am from Lamezia

As this part of Italy becomes more popular we are sure to see some more of the budget airlines flying out, especially during the summer months and with the arrival of Thompson holiday makers throughout the season the little airport will be very busy.

There are also regualr flights from Gatwick and Manchester to Lamezia Terme airport through ThomsonFly

San Eufemia train station is about 2km from Lamezia airport and you can get there by bus or taxi. The train service improves during peak season and stops at most coastal resorts such as Pizzo, Zambrone and Tropea.
